UNITED WAY OF GREATER UNION COUNTY

HURRICANE SANDY COMMUNITY RECOVERY FUND

SUPPORTING NEAR-TERM AND LONG-TERM RECOVERY

Dear United Way Supporters,

After the devastation of Hurricane Sandy thousands of residents of Union county, North and South Plainfield are without power, unable to go to work and struggling to care for their families.  As lights turn back on, homes are repaired and our community begins the slow process of recovery, countless families still need help.  Many in our region were already vulnerable-facing financial challenges, struggling with food insecurity and unable to meet basic needs-and unprepared to endure a crisis like the one we are now facing.

The Fund will address the near-term and long term recovery needs of individuals, families and communities in Union County, North and South Plainfield.   You can also designate your gift to any community in New Jersey.

Thank you so much for making a difference by donating to the United Way of Greater Union County Hurricane Sandy Community Recovery Fund.

Sincerely,
James W. Horne, Jr.
